BBC's digital revolution rumbles on
Shucks, just one day in and already my lack of technical know-how is proving to be a hindrance to this blog. The BBC is today launching its new marketing campaign for digital access, a drive the take-up of digital TV and radio in the UK and which is flexible enough to take the corporation all the way up to switchover. In addition to a number of radio executions it includes some very funny TV ads (not sure who the agency is though). I’d love to be able to have the vids showing on the post but I don’t know how to so until it pops up on YouTube I guess I’ll just have to be all 1.0 and hope you click on this link. The BBC’s David Bainbridge who has the fantastic title - Head of Marketing, Communications and Audiences, New Media & Digital – said in a statement: “We're targeting the remaining 30% of homes that have not converted to Digital TV and the 45% of the population who haven't bought into digital radio yet.”
